IBM WW Storage Competitive Sales Leader (f/m/x) in Zurich, Switzerland

Introduction

As WW Storage Competitive Leader, you will develop, plan and execute all efforts we create to drive competitive take outs in Signature, Strategic and the Select Client business space. Leading a virtual team in the GEO's but with client relationships that you will create or bring to the job.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a WW Storage Competitive Leader you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

  • Client Management & Value Communication: Managing clients and effectively communicating IBM's value.

  • Decision Maker Engagement: Identifying decision makers, qualifying opportunities, and establishing partnerships.

  • Sales Process Leadership: Overseeing the complete sales process, with a focus on new business.

  • Collaborative Ecosystem Engagement: Collaborating with the broader IBM sales ecosystem to develop campaigns and boost pipeline growth.

  • Sales Approach Definition: Creating and defining competitive take out strategies

  • Large Deal Coach and Leader: Personally engaging in the largest opportunities we have to coach or lead the sales cycle.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in Tech Sales: Business acumen to identify and progress opportunities at existing and new clients.

  • Ability to Convey Tech Solutions: Effectively articulating the business and financial impact of tech solutions.

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Demonstrating engaging and influential communication and presentation abilities.

  • Strong sales execution experience and/or client engagement skills at complex/international clients

  • Language Skills: Fluent German (C1/C2) and fluent in English. French is an advantage.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Data & AI Market Knowledge: Expertise in the Data & AI market offerings and vendors to serve as a trusted client advisor (training on IBM's Data & AI offerings will be provided).

  • Consultative Selling Skills & Challenger Sales Mentality
