TITLE:PS Service Design Sr Manager

GRADE: 14

LOCATION: Zurich, Switzerland

The PS Senior Consultant works in a complex environment, creating advanced solutions to meet customers’ business needs. They communicate with internal and external organizations whilst maintaining full ownership. They take a total lifecycle approach to the customer, creating differentiated solutions and a simple, agile, and innovative experience.

Activities will range from simple or one-off tasks, to working in larger teams across multiple countries to deliver solutions globally across hundreds or thousands of sites.

We create and deliver Cisco solutions on behalf of our end-customers. We may provide the complete end-to-end solution, or parts of it.

Subject matter expert on products, systems, and services

  • Deep level knowledge across the networking technologies as well as full product ranges

  • Knowledgeable on assigned solution(s) to SME level and frequently assist others with investigations

  • Assume responsibility for large scale designs and their alignment with customer business needs

  • As a technical lead, manage all aspects of deployments interfacing customers, internal organizations as well as product manufacturers

  • Assess, proactively mentor, and assist peers in product and systems technical details, management of issues and all aspects of the respective role

  • Prepare various technical documents on technologies, customer environments, products and systems

Strong customer focus

  • Assist the sales teams with successful definition and positioning of the solution and related NCR services, building customer confidence and a professional company image

  • Determine customer requirements and translate to solution architecture and articulate them in business terms both internally and externally

  • Defend proposed solutions and services on both technical and business ground

  • Build long term customer relationships as a trusted advisor

  • Prepare and deliver training on products and systems, as appropriate

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypothesis

  • Identify, design, develop and validate solution

  • Ability to research problems with no known solutions and design solutions for identified problems

  • Collaborate and communicate with technical and business

  • End to End data analysis

  • Identify processes, products and services areas of improvements and team with other engineers to improve the process consistent with the NCR improvement approach

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • An active Cisco CCIE certification verified by https://ccie.cloudapps.cisco.com/CCIE/Schedule_Lab/CCIEOnline/CCIEOnline?verify

  • If the candidate worked for one or more Cisco partner companies holding a designation within the past 12 months, termination or release documentation will be required from each previous company. The release letter must be on previous employer’s company letterhead, stating that the employee was terminated or that they have released the CCIE to support another partner’s designation. The letter must also include the last date of employment

  • Candidates who are not CCIE but have CCNA, CCSP with security specializations will also be considered

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as Microsoft Azure, is helpful but not required

  • Minimum of 5 years of related job experience
