What You Can Expect

In view of increased administrative tasks and promotion within our team of trainee into a paralegal role, our legal team is in need of support from a motivated trainee who could help fill the gap in view of lack of paralegal supports.

The duties will range from simple administrative tasks (ie DHL support, filing of documents, interaction with notary, upload contracts into our contractual database) with a strong focus on helping EMEA legal team to keep the legal database (Legisway) fully up to date. It will also cover more complicated tasks usually assigned to paralegals such preparation of HCP agreements and notification letters, document collection and review, tracking of agreements, help on some special projects requiring manual work.

The candidate will be asked to be in Zug office full time as many tasks require physical presence in Zug.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Help with keeping the legal database (Legisway) fully up to date, by helping the legal counsel of the team to upload their agreements in the database

  • Administrative tasks ranging from helping the legal counsels on shipment of couriers (DHL), obtain signature, tracking documents, interact with notary, help save documents in ZB various physical files, to more complex tasks per the below

  • Assist in drafting correspondence, various contracts, amendments, legal letters, and other related simple documents under the close supervision of legal counsels.

  • Organize and maintain accurate filing and archiving based on needs of legal counsel

  • Help legal counsels in case of special projects requiring manual work

  • Accurate and timely maintenance of project status spreadsheet and contracts data base.

  • More generally provide assistant support to the legal team members.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Matura or equivalent

  • Law Student (ideally)

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Fluent German and English. Spanish or French is a plus

Your Background

  • Time management skills to handle accurately multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Must be able to work in different languages (fluent in German and English mandatory, Spanish or French is a plus)

  • Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment and report regularly to his/her manager and to the department lawyers directing him/her.

  • Willingness to help on various administrative tasks and on-board more complex matters.

  • Must be detail-oriented and accurate.
