As a Strategy and M&A Project Manager, you will be part of our Smart Infrastructure (SI) Global Strategy Team, leading key strategic initiatives and M&A projects. Exciting initiatives with significant business impact await you, including accelerating SI’s advances in software, digital, and IoT, shaping SI’s go-to-market strategies, and driving growth in SI’s core business and adjacent areas. By leading high-stakes projects and initiatives, you will play a crucial role in making SI the best for our customers, our people, our communities, and our owners.

Your new responsibilities
Shape key strategic questions for Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI) from start to finish
Lead problem-solving and implementation with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely execution, delivery, and quality
Define project deliverables, report to top management, and ensure effective execution.
Lead and empower teams from various business units and functions
Draw insightful conclusions and provide pragmatic recommendations
Communicate outcomes clearly and compellingly to senior management, both in writing and orally
Work on general strategy projects, with a focus on M&A:
Define M&A strategies across industries
Identify and evaluate potential targets
Create target longlists, implement assessments, and shortlist actionable targets
Lead due diligence teams, champion deals, and empower the team
Ensure implementation of recommendations and realization of business benefits for Siemens Infrastructure
Your talents and experience
Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
Relevant experience as a senior consultant or project leader in consulting, M&A, or a business environment (min 6 years)
Confirmed experience in project management and leading international teams in a corporate setting
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex, cross-functional issues and implement solutions in a global matrix environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand, influence, and align with others
Driven, well-structured, and open in project execution
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German, with the ability to effectively share findings and implications
Willingness to travel (around 20-30% of your time)
