Business Development Manager Biomaterials Orthopaedics
in Switzerland in full time
Residence should provide easy access to all regions of Switzerland
Reporting to the Marketing Lead Spine Switzerland, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of specific customer development plans by providing full clinical and commercial support for product and service portfolios.
The role requires collaboration and leadership in several areas of sales, marketing and project management including end-to-end implementation of key projects, business development in high potential accounts, KOL engagement, customer segmentation, targeting and, positioning, new product introductions, supply chain management, and monitoring competitive and sales dynamics.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop in-depth understanding of the needs and objectives of customers on all levels- both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, to develop tailored solutions which, maximize sales and sales potential.
Conduct research to identify new market opportunities, trends, new growth areas, partnerships, products, services, and customer needs
Develop and implement a short- and mid-term growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Strengthen current Biomaterials portfolio through partnership agreements to accelerate future growth
Prepare and implement annual marketing plans where required, for assigned product & service lines to achieve corporate objectives.
Build-up and introduce end-to-end Supply Chain process through collaboration with supplier, finance team, warehousing and logistics department
Ensure employees are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
Pitch assigned product & service lines to all relevant stake holders in the buying cycle.
Support sales team and customers during new product introductions through first class clinical support and tailored training offering.
Collaborate across business units and with other functions including Key Account Management, Sales Consultants, Clinical Support Specialists and Sales Managers to drive execution and deliver on objectives.
Collaborate with Local & Regional Marketing Offices to implement and execute marketing plans and strategies related to the product and service portfolios.
Manage assigned product & service portfolio and be accountable for achievement of business goals.

Understanding the importance of end-to-end solutions
Proven track record in driving to seek new businesses
Initiative and good decision-making skills
B e creative, proactive and resourceful, maintain accountability for his/her actions and make good judgment in the performance of his/her duties
Demonstrate good leadership and strong project management skills as well as a sense of entrepreneurship
Very strong presentation skills required
Demonstrate strategic capabilities and problem-solving skills
The ideal candidate will need to be able to evolve in an environment with various degrees of complexity and ambiguity
Fluent in German and English; proficiency in Italian and/ or French is a plus
Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland
Education & Experience
Masters Degree or Equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of health care sales and marketing experience
Trained to apply advanced Microsoft package skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Clean driving license
