Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Mailroom Assistant in ZIONSVILLE, Indiana, 46077, United States. This role involves handling and managing documents in a hands-on manner and is crucial to our operations in the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, scan, and index documents related to new business annuities such as applications, paperwork, checks, and transfer forms.

• Maintain and manage the check register for incoming checks.

• Ensure timely scanning and delivery of checks to the treasury department for processing and deposit.

• Prepare and process outgoing benefit checks to clients efficiently.

• Maintain records of archived documents for retention and destruction purposes.

• Involve in the purchasing process for office supplies and other inventory management tasks.

• Utilize skills in Document Scanning, Indexing, Annuities, Check Processing, Outgoing Correspondence, and Financial Records to perform tasks effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in document scanning and indexing

• Familiarity with annuities and check processing

• Ability to handle outgoing correspondence in a timely and efficient manner

• Experience in maintaining and managing financial records

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
