About the Unit

We offer a wide range of imaging that includes, Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), PET/CT, Mammography, and Ultrasound. We are a fundamental part of the care team -- we use the latest imaging technology to help with the diagnosis and treatment of our patients.

Scope of Work

Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the physician and documents findings. Assists physicians with invasive procedures as needed. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

    Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent years of experience in related field

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Sonographer, Abdomen, and OB/GYN ARDMS required upon hire

  • Vascular Tech, Vascular Sonographer, Breast required within 1 year

  • Breast Sonographer required within 2 years

  • BLS from AHA or ARC required within 90 days
