Kemin Industries Customer Service Representative in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico

Overview

Kemin is seeking a talented and dedicated Bilingual Customer Service Representative in Mexico! This role will be responsible for maintaining our customer’s account needs. The Customer Service Representative is the internal and external contact point of contact of sales in charge of the maintenance of the master data of the customer and will make changes and relevant updates to the customer profile. The successful candidate is also responsible for generating tax billing and accurately tracking with finance and sales teams. This position will maintain a good relationship with customers by following credit notes, product returns, revalidation of materials, and sending samples to the United States.

The incumbent is expected to follow instructions, specific procedures and protocols, and policies to ensure the highest product quality and a safe work environment. This is an on-site position in our Zapopan facilities, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating, handling, and maintaining customer satisfaction for Kemin’s customers.

  • Accurate order entry and fulfilling product shipments.

  • Update and maintain product price list.

  • Provide sales support to the Commercial team.

  • Responsible for obtaining freight quotes and securing LTL Carriers for shipments, and tracking shipments when necessary.

  • Monitor inventory levels at designated customer locations to assist in maintaining sufficient inventory levels.

  • Responsible for daily communication with the sales, warehouse, and finance Teams to coordinate domestic and international shipments.

  • Review Accounts Receivable reports and inform customers on past due account status.

  • Generate invoices and accrue for rebates, commissions, and other applicable discounts and withholdings.

  • Record and rectify customer complaints with supervision.

  • Return goods authorization with approval.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Preferable bachelor’s degree in Finance, Administration, Commerce, or Logistics.

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a customer service representative, order entry advisor, Tax Billing, and logistics.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

  • Must understand freight (domestic and/or international), export documents, and tariffs.

  • Be able to multi-task, adjust priorities, and have excellent time management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to present ideas effectively with customers, peers, and all levels of management.

  • Proficient in MS Office programs.

  • Experience with ERP systems

    A post-offer background check and drug screen is required. Additional pre-employment requirements may be necessary based on position.
