Job Title: Temporary-to-Hire Accountant

Pay: $25hr+ DOE

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Accountant for a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a local CPA firm. This role offers the chance to work with multiple clients, handle bookkeeping and payroll, and assist with tax preparation. Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-Client Bookkeeping: Maintain financial records, record transactions, reconcile bank statements, and manage accounts payable/receivable.

• Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Tax Preparation: Prepare individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.

• Financial Statement Preparation: Compile and analyze financial data to create balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Audit Support: Assist in financial audits by reviewing client documents and verifying accuracy.

• Financial Analysis: Identify trends, assess financial health, and provide insights to clients.

• Client Communication: Work directly with clients to address concerns and provide accounting support.

• Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting regulations.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
