Job Summary:
PlanITROI is seeking a Manufacturing Facility Cleaner to be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the production, office, and warehouse areas of our facility. This role ensures that the working environment is safe and clean for all employees, complying with the company’s cleanliness and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hardworking, and capable of working independently to uphold the high standards of our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize production, office, and warehouse areas, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and restrooms.
Remove waste, recyclables, and other disposables from designated areas and transport to proper disposal areas.
Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors and surfaces to ensure they are free from debris.
Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, walls, and other high-contact areas.
Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and request restocking when necessary.
Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and power washers safely and effectively.
Respond to urgent cleaning requests, such as spills or hazards, promptly.
Follow and comply with all safety regulations and company protocols.
Deep cleaning and sanitization tasks as required, especially during maintenance shutdowns or special projects.
Inspect and report any facility issues (e.g., leaks, damages) to the Facility Maintenance Custodian or leadership.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a cleaner, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Basic understanding of safety and hygiene regulations.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment.
Work Environment:
This role requires physical activity such as standing, walking, and lifting.
The working environment may include exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
