Scenic View Transportation DRIVER in Youngstown, Ohio
Scenic View Transportation / A Blessed Path is a family oriented, non-profit organization looking to hire WHEELCHAIR drivers. We specialize in providing non-emergent transportation services to the elderly, underprivileged and disabled population to medical, non-medical and other necessary appointments. We are looking for someone to join our team who has a caring heart to help those in need in the community. We provide medical and non-medical transportation predominantly in NE Ohio. Your main job responsibilities are to provide door to door services and ensure clients arrive to their scheduled appointments in a safe timely manner.
All drivers must:
Be a US citizen
Hold an active driver's license with 4 points or less in the last three years
Have no criminal history (BCI and FBI checks performed regularly)
Be able to pass a physical/ 50 lb lift test/ drug and alcohol test
Be able to communicate using email/ text messaging and tablet based apps
Be willing to comply with industry standards and maintain CPR/ first aid & drive training certifications (provided by the company)
Position-specific requirements:
Must have weekly Saturday availability
Must be willing to train as wheelchair-capable driver upon hire
