Job Information

The production worker is a basic entry level position to learn fabrication and packaging of gas compressors in different areas of production needs.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following as well as other duties that are assigned:

Ability to run multiple types of equipment such as saws, bevelers and cranes
Preforms assembly and/or disassembly of compressor packages and prepares the finished unit for shipment
Ability to sand blast fittings in enclosed environment
Capability to learn to read blueprints on sketches
Read a tape measure
Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment
Employees are given training opportunities which provides the potential for moving into high positions and career advancement
Any other duties assigned by crew leader

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of manufacturing experience
Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus. Steel experience is highly desired
Stability in employment history
Have the knowledge of basic tools and provide them for work
Ability to maintain an appropriate attendance record
Must have good initiative, dedication, problem solving skills and enjoy working in a team environment
Must be available to work weekends as well as overtime
Ability to learn to read blue prints and use simple math skills
Must be able to work in an industrial environment including temperature extremes of heat and cold, dust, noise, outdoor weather conditions, and wear all required personal protective equipment.
Must be physically fit including lifting up to 50 lb., pulling, reaching, and climbing.
Ability to pass a drug test
