Position Summary

Reporting to the Repair Supervisor, the Repair Technician is responsible for performing repairs on a wide range of Red Lion products while meeting service commitments and manufacturing standards.

Essential Job Functions  

  • Troubleshoot circuits to the component level to understand root cause of test failures
  • Repair boards/assemblies across multiple product families through rework of solder, remove and replace of components, etc.
  • Coordinate with engineers, manufacturing leadership and customer service representatives providing detailed findings and estimate to complete for individual repairs
  • Maintain test fixture service & perform preventative maintenance
  • Utilize various electronics repair equipment while analyzing wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.

Minimum Requirements

 

 

  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the area of electronics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Demonstrates oral and written communication skill to interface with various levels within the organization.
  • Expected to cross-train across multiple product lines, demonstrating proficient knowledge in each area.
  • Effectively collaborate with peers when troubleshooting complex issues when needed.
  • Willingness to learn and make suggestions for improvements.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance.

  • Must be able to occasionally move and transport up to 25 lbs by oneself
  • Continuous periods of sitting/standing/walking

Preferred Qualifications

 

 

  • 5+ years of experience in the area of industrial electronics troubleshooting and repair
  • IPC Certifications
