Ministry Support (Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries) PREP Team Lead in York, Pennsylvania

Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period:  Full-Time / Evening Shift / 75 hours per pay period

Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Senior Living Services and Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries.

General Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for directing the operation of the designated Diakon Youth Services Program and by developing, implementing and supervising the delivery of services to youth and coordinating services with other programs to assure smooth operations.
  • Performs administrative and supervisory responsibilities as required
  • Assists in planning and actively participates in weekly scheduled events and activities and provides direct services as necessary
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining professional and supportive relationships with youth, families, referring personnel, treatment providers, and others involved in the lives of children and youth
  • Childline & DHS FBI clearances are required prior to beginning employment.
  • Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Program-need covid vaccine card or file for an exemption.

Education/Training: A BS or BA degree in human services or a related field of study normally required.

 

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' related experience normally required.

 

ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
