Oracle EDI Supplier System Specialist

Location: WellSpan Health, York, PA

Schedule: Full Time

Hours: M-F Days

Full Time: 40 hours/week

General Summary

The Supplier Specialist plays an integral role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical supplier data across the Oracle Cloud ERP. The incumbent is expected to have a fundamental understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP specifically related to supplier data and the transactions the data enables and will have responsibility to manage a significant number of data elements including supplier name, purchasing and remit addresses, contacts, banking details, payment terms, tax identification and e-connectivity. This position facilitates smooth operations, accurate reporting, and reliable analytics, making them an essential part of the team that helps support the organization's procure to pay operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain supplier master data records in Oracle Cloud ERP and validate input information to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Proactively interact with buyers, sourcing specialists, requisitioners and accounts payable staff to ensure timely execution of requests and to problem solve issues so that service level agreements are met.

• Identify process improvement opportunities to simplify work and bring efficiencies to the processes.

• As required, participate in new development projects and execute deployment of changes which impact the Oracle Cloud ERP supplier master such as regulatory changes, new Oracle releases and tax changes.

• Continuous improvement of Supplier Master Data processes

• Creates supplier management reference documents including procedures and training materials.

• Serves as the daily point of contact with end users and suppliers.

• Strong customer service skills, comfortable calling suppliers to resolve data issues to ensure integrity of the procure to pay operation.

• Develop KPIs and reporting metrics around supplier data points to monitor accuracy, trending, and exception reporting.

• Address gaps in vendor backup information, including US required government W9 forms, phone numbers, email, banking information, terms, addresses, payment methods, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

Bachelors Degree - Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Accounting Information Systems, Information Technology

Preferred

Work Experience

2-5 Years Managing supplier master data required

Healthcare and Oracle Cloud ERP experience preferred
