Business Systems Analyst-Day -Financial Planning Prof Svcs

Location: WellSpan Health, York, PA

Schedule: Full Time

Hours: M-F Day

Full Time: 40 hours/Week

General Summary

Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Develops or modifies moderately complex information systems.

Essential Functions:

• Performs analysis of business and user needs and documents requirements for business solutions.

• Coordinates implementation of departmental systems, including completion of workflow analysis and establishment of benchmarks for determining successful completion of project(s).

• Evaluates current departmental procedures and makes recommendations for reengineering to best utilize capabilities of new business systems and enhance departmental productivity, performance and accuracy.

• Monitors daily activity, resolves problems, develops new methodologies, and interfaces with vendors in developing solutions to problems and submitting enhancement requests with subsequent follow up.

• Prepares documentation for, and provides implementation training as required.

• Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses and statements.

• Researches availability of other internal and external database sources to ensure most current and complete information is available to appropriate departments and managers.

• Guides and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Associates Degree Required

Work Experience:

• 3 years experience in Budgeting/Financial Analysis

• Experience working with Stakeholders in creating/developing budget plans

• Must have strong excel experience(Pivot Tables and advanced formulas)

• We are not looking for IT Business Analyst, this is a financial systems role

• Healthcare experience a plus

• Oracle experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Min Field Of Expertise: Accounting, business administration, or computer science
