Business Analyst
A freight service company is looking for a Business Analyst for a contract role. This role focuses on improving supplier data processes and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Candidates must bring strong experience in the healthcare or hospital industry, a solid understanding of EDI processes, and a track record of delivering quality results.
Responsibilities of Business Analyst
Review and clean up the supplier master to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for supplier management.
Analyze and identify suppliers using EDI and non-EDI formats, ensuring appropriate categorization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth data integration and system compatibility within Oracle Fusion.
Conduct process audits and provide recommendations to streamline supplier operations.
Act as the liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and implementation of strategies.
Support ongoing supplier master maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications of Business Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
Proven experience in the healthcare or hospital industry (required).
Strong experience with Oracle Fusion and Supplier Master management (required).
Deep understanding of EDI processes and supplier classifications.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficient in developing SOPs and operational guidelines.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
