Business Analyst

A freight service company is looking for a Business Analyst for a contract role. This role focuses on improving supplier data processes and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Candidates must bring strong experience in the healthcare or hospital industry, a solid understanding of EDI processes, and a track record of delivering quality results.

Responsibilities of Business Analyst

  • Review and clean up the supplier master to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for supplier management.

  • Analyze and identify suppliers using EDI and non-EDI formats, ensuring appropriate categorization.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth data integration and system compatibility within Oracle Fusion.

  • Conduct process audits and provide recommendations to streamline supplier operations.

  • Act as the liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and implementation of strategies.

  • Support ongoing supplier master maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Requirements

Skills/Qualifications of Business Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst

  • Proven experience in the healthcare or hospital industry (required).

  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion and Supplier Master management (required).

  • Deep understanding of EDI processes and supplier classifications.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Proficient in developing SOPs and operational guidelines.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
