Major Duties and Responsibilities Be consistently positive, enthusiastic and respectful in all interactions with customers and co-workers. Achieve established monthly sales goals Achieve monthly key metric targets ( Bobs Cards, Acceptance Now, Goof, etc.) Partner with store management to improve sales performance through participating in regular coaching sessions. Learn the features and benefits of all merchandise on the sales floor. Sell according to Bobs Way. Involve Store Management in the sales process to help overcome customer objections and assist with closing the sale. Attend and constructively participate in all scheduled meetings, workshops and other training sessions. Contribute to the on-going effort to maintain the stores appearance at the highest level, by straightening, light cleaning as assigned, and identifying damaged or unsightly merchandise and removing from Floor. Pricing and tagging Outlet merchandise according to Outlet pricing guidelines as set forth by the Company Assist in the assembly of merchandise as needed Arrive at work on scheduled days, on time, in proper attire and work scheduled shift. This includes working all weekends and major holidays, unless specified otherwise by management. Stage Showroom and/or Outlet in preparation to receive merchandise in accordance with Visual guidelines Actively assist in conducting Inventory as required Move and relocate merchandise as needed Observe and maintain safety requirements of Bobs Discount Furniture Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work within Teams and follow direction Ability to actively listen Ability to communicate effectively and utilize communication tools appropriately Ability to move and lift objects Ability to contribute to the Stores overall success Reporting Relationships Position reports to Retail Outlet Sales and Operations Manager (may vary by location) Desired Qualifications Career minded with capacity to grow professionally Proven track record of back-end retail experience A Team player with a desire to exceed expectations Customer Service experience
