Delaware North Facilities Director, Yellowstone National Park in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Facilities Director to join our team at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. As a Facilities Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a complex facility management and construction program within Yellowstone National Park. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $132100 - $178400 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, hazardous waste programs, and green initiatives, while establishing operating procedures that meet division budget goals

  • Oversight of a small leadership team

  • Collaborate with National Park Service and stakeholders to develop and implement plans that impact concessioner operations, visitor services, and structural fire code compliance

  • Manage capital projects from proposal to completion, ensuring best practices in project development and contractor agreements, while preserving historic structures and landscapes

  • Develop and submit annual maintenance plans and reports to the National Park Service, ensuring all contract requirements are met

  • Provide leadership in CFIP project development, from planning through construction, maintaining strong relationships with all involved parties

  • Drive a company vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years using a computerized maintenance management system and knowledge of contracting and bidding processes required

  • Strong background in building and mechanical facilities management, including HVAC, electrical systems, energy management, and environmental conservation programs

  • Experience with environmental compliance, stewardship programs, and knowledge of ADA standards, National Environmental Protection Act, and the National Historic Preservation Act

  • Experience with leading, mentoring, and supporting a team required

  • Familiarity with historic preservation activities and general knowledge of hotel, motel, and resort properties is preferred

  • Valid driver's license is required; CDL is preferred

  • Training in Historic Structures Maintenance and Fire Inspector is preferred
