Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the construction of large-scale water treatment plant projects in Northern Canada.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develops the work packaging, sequencing, and scheduling plans
Manages EHS program for Civil Construction/remediation activities including review and approval of Contractors and oversight of work activities
Responsible for the delivery of the construction scope, schedule, budget and quality of work packages delivered by sub-contractors.
Responsible for the preparation of technical components of tender documents meeting the project requirements
Coordination of requests for clarification on all issued documents, and issuance of addenda to tender documents
Leads internal and external communications regarding tender submissions
Assists Construction Manager and Safety with EHS program implementation, Contractor review, site inspections and enforcement of standards
Responsible to develop and deliver the project socio-economic procurement plan
Provides support to the HS and Environmental managers, leads by example and actively participates in the EHS program (training, inspections, employee mentoring)
Responsible for the preparation and issuance of contract documents
Responsible for processing and maintaining control and accountability for contract modifications (i.e. Amendments, de-scoped items, etc.)
Managing and coordinating the appropriate closure of contracts, including management of performance metric reporting, acquisition of deliverables (i.e. Operations manuals, warranty documentation)
Maintaining and updating tracking tools with current values for contracts and amendments (projected and actual), and developing data summaries
Compliance monitoring of contract deliverables
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field
15+ years of experience in the civil construction/remediation industry leading project management activities
Knowledgeable of industry practices and regulations
Knowledgeable of current technologies and how it can be effectively utilized on large civil construction/remediation projects
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Significant experience in similar role in the construction of Water Treatment Plants
Experience in similar role at civil construction/remediation projects preferred in very cold climates and remote conditions
Professional designation (or the ability to obtain one) as a professional geologist, engineer, PMP is desired

Salary Range:
$121,900 - $226,500
