We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing plant in Yaphank, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic welding skills. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of machinery and production lines.

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.

  • Basic welding skills (MIG, TIG, or stick welding).

  • mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.

  • Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.

salary: $83,000 - $100,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

  • Conduct basic welding repairs as needed for equipment maintenance.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.

  • Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.

  • Ensure that all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with the production team to support continuous manufacturing operations.

  • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols.
