Th is position will w o rk c l osely with pro j ect teams a nd will r e port to th e H e ad o f G r ants a n d P a rtnershi p .

Main Responsibilities

G rants M anag e ment, C o mpli a nce, a nd R e p o rtin g :

  • R es p onsible for g r ant compl i ance for IRC ’ s UN g r ants, p ro v i d i n g grants compliance support a nd guidance to technical team, M E A L , Oper a tions and Finance colleagues.

  • Working closely with p ro j ect le ad s, org a n i zing a n d f a cilit at ing regular a nd e ffe cti v e p roj e c t c y cle man a g e me n t me e tings ( as p e r I R C’s P CM mo d u le) a nd follow-up o f donor complianc e s a nd g r ant man a g ement a cti o ns f or U N gr a nts. F l ag key issues to t h e Head of Gr a nts a nd Pa rt n erships a n d Dep u t y D ir e ctor Progr a ms in a timely m a nn e r.

  • Man a ge co n tracting a nd grant amendments for U N g r a nt s , co o r d i n at i ng with in-country, r e gi o n a l a n d H Q colle a g u es a n d c o o r d i n a t i n g r e v i e w s t hrough t h e I R C’s online tracking system ( OT I S).

  • Se r v e a s t h e f o c al p o i nt f or p o s t -aw a rd comm u nication suc h a s p r i o r a p p r ova l re qu e s t s with donors, for both I RC a n d p artn e rs.

  • Ens u r e a l l g r a n t f i li n g o n OT I S a n d B o x s h a r e d driv e an d h ar d co p y i s ( i f m a n d a tory by D onor) u p to d a te f or UN gr a nt s .

  • Up da te grants compli a nce gu i deline d ocuments a nd stays u p to da te with a ll instit ut ion a l donor gui d elines, rul es and r e gu l ations, and r e porting format s .

  • Facilitate a n d support c ompilatio n , finalization a nd timely sub m is s ion of quality n a rrative and financial d o n or reports, providing n a rr a ti v e report i n puts as n e eded .

  • Support with r e quir e d a mend m ent p roc e sses, co o r d i nating with p a rtn e r s hips team on r e visions in line with donor ex p ec t ations.

  • Wor ki ng c l o s e l y wi t h t h e Hea d o f G r an t s a n d P a rt ne rs h i p s , t o l e a d o n t h e d e v e l op me nt o f pr op o s al s , wor k p l a ns, budgets, and a ll other r elev a nt documentation f or pro j ect f oll o w - o n y ea rs.

  • B a chelor's d egr e e in r elevant d i sciplin e .

    E x pe ri ences

  • At le a st (4 ) years’ work e x p e ri e nce i n gr a nt and/or conso rt ium man a g e ment for d ev e lo pm ent o r e merg e ncy programs. Pr e vious exp e rience with U NOPS or ot h er m ult i - d o n or f unding m echanisms high l y r e g a rded.

  • Prov e n capacity to communicate, coordinate a nd n egoti a te a mong d iv e r s e p a rtners a nd s t akehold e rs with hi g h n e goti a tion skil l s.

  • D e monstrable und e rstanding o f p roj e ct p lanning a nd man a g em ent cycles. Experi e nce working with he a l t h a nd m ult i s e c t or a l proj e cts is considered a n asset.

  • D e monstrated su ccessful exper i ence in do n or r eporting a nd c o m plianc e , particu l arly UN ( U N O PS Acc e ss t o H ea l t h a n d LIFT).
