Summary:

As a Sales Representative at Stusser Yakima, you will be challenged and motivated to take off in your career. You will be responsible for maintaining current customer satisfaction with service and sales, as well as generating new sales and business outlined by management’s goals. A successful Sales Representative will provide professional services with product knowledge, problem solving, and order enhancement. Stusser Electric Yakima (CED) is in a quickly expanding market, has a fast-paced office, with a small collaborative team, who exceed the standard of performance, and we require our employees to be able to manage a variety of tasks. Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school or equivalent required

· 2+ years of proven customer service, sales, and/or distribution experience

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Must be highly motivated, have a positive outlook, and a target-driven mindset

· Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

· Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

Preferred Qualifications:

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a business related field preferred

· Electrical Distribution and Construction experi ence a plus

· Familiarity with Prokeep software and sales tools

Working Conditions:

General office and warehouse conditions. Occasional operation of warehouse equipment and driving of a work truck to pick-up and/or deliver local orders.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

· Take inbound customer calls and enter online orders

· Prepare orders for delivery/will-call, follow shipping and receiving SOP’s, ensure order accuracy, and complete stock transfers

· Timely follow-up with customers on their orders, quotes, and materials

· Create Sales Registers, research Credit Memos

· Ability to sell cost effective alternate material, support management determining customer-pricing

· Walk job sites and assure CED standards are met through customer relationships

· Effectively communicate and aid other team members

· Enroll and complete NAED’s Electrical Product and Education Course

· Maintain an up-to-date extensive knowledge on electrical products and systems

· Spend time familiarizing yourself with other aspects of business such as project management, bids and quotations, purchasing, account receivables, and more

· Prospect and develop challenging market areas

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $18 to $26 hourly.
