FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred Position Summary The Corporate Communications Specialist is an excellent opportunity to support and consult senior leadership system-wide with internal and external communications needs You will forge business partnerships to produce, create and execute comprehensive communication strategies to strengthen employee and physician engagement, engage and inform audiences and protect MultiCare's reputation. Responsibilities You will develop and manage public relations and strategic communications initiatives to support business objectives for MultiCare with a primary focus on community engagement and reputation issues You will develop and implement strategic communications plans, including public relations, social media, executive positioning and internal communications to effectively communicate MultiCare's position You will work with executives and other team members, providing strategic support and mentoring on media and public relations strategies as necessary You will train executives and other leaders on effective team and one-on-one communication in support of business objectives You will develop strategies and tactics that proactively address MultiCare's reputation issues You will use communications expertise in positioning and messaging to support company growth and retention objectives Requirements Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or other related field Minimum Seven (7) years of experience producing (writing and editing) communication content and materials Experience working with executives and key stakeholders to support communication needs Minimum One (1) year of experience working in the health care field preferred Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The starting pay for this position is $61,214.40 and the pay scale is $61,214.40 - $85,696.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
