Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in an emergent care environment. Able to recognize, triage, assess, and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and PALS within 90 days of date of hire. Handle with Care within one year of date of hire.
Conscious Sedation competency completion required within 90 days of date of hire. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of VA, or Compact licensure as a Registered Nurse which includes the Commonwealth of VA, and in good standing with the Board. Drag Edit Delete
Minimum Work Experience One year of previous experience in an ER as an RN strongly preferred. Drag Edit Delete
Ability to regularly accept on-call assignments and ability to report to hospital within 30 minutes of notification.
