Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker for our 1st shift from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC saws, performing precise cuts, maintaining a safe work area, and ensuring the quality of cut materials.

Responsibilities

• Select and safely attach saw blade according to work order specifications.

• Utilize programmable displays on CNC saws to set up and cut materials.

• Position machine table guides as per cutting specifications and secure them in place.

• Establish cutting parameters to ensure maximum quality.

• Maintain a safe working area and adhere to established safe work practices.

• Measure cut materials using a ruler, tape measure, caliper, or square to verify dimensions.

• Use computer or bar code scanner to enter records, track materials, and control inventory.

• Pull and restock materials from/to storage locations and maintain production count.

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment as needed.

• Perform general warehouse duties as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC saws and programmable displays.

• Ability to establish cutting parameters for maximum quality.

• Proficiency in measuring tools such as ruler, tape measure, caliper, or square.

• Basic computer literacy for inventory control and record-keeping.

• Ability to perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general warehouse work.

• Knowledge of forklift operation.

• Experience in packaging and machining operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wyoming, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00
