COLUMBIA HEALTH CARE CENTER Dietary Aide/Relief Cook in WYOCENA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position works 6 am - 2:30 or 11 am - 7:30 pm and every other weekend. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cooks with needed items. Carry food supplies, equipment, and utensils to and from storage and work areas. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware. Load dishes, glasses, and tableware into dishwashing machines. Operate cash register, handle money, and give correct change. Prepare a variety of foods, such as meats, vegetables, or desserts, according to customers\' orders or supervisors\' instructions, following approved procedures. Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety. Cook foodstuffs according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served. Rotate and store food supplies. Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or other cooking equipment. Clean and inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
