Description We are searching for a diligent Credit Clerk to contribute to our banking team in Wyckoff, New Jersey. In this role, your main focus will be on processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Manage and resolve customer credit inquiries promptly

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Take necessary action to collect delinquent payments

• Assist in services such as cashing checks, making deposits, and suggesting different products and services based on customer needs

• Provide service to retail banking customers

• Obtain access for opening up new accounts

• Work in various locations throughout the footprint as required

• Provide excellent customer service while handling retail duties

• Fluent in Spanish to cater to a wider range of customers.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Proficiency in customer service, with a proven track record of successfully resolving customer issues

• Experience in a retail environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences

• Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases

• Strong understanding of the banking industry, including knowledge of various banking products and services

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and provide solutions in a timely manner

• Proficient in using banking software and systems to manage customer accounts and transactions

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner

• Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing situations

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the banking industry.
