We are seeking a professional like you to provide support to the WEPC Engineering Plastics operation in Wyandotte, MI. In this role as a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for leading inventory management processes for our supply chain & plant operations. Additionally, this position includes planning raw materials to support the plant’s production plan and inventory targets.

As a Supply Chain Planner, you create chemistry by...

• Leading the plant’s inventory management processes related to production rework, scrap & finished goods with Customer Service, Operations, Quality Assurance and Plant Logistics

• Managing portfolio of key raw materials to balance supply with production needs of plant

• Coordinating and leading action plans for the reduction of dysfunctional inventory

• Being responsible for managing our sample fulfillment process with Customer Service and Plant Logistics

• Leading monthly inventory cycle count process to ensure the accuracy of our inventory records

• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels in alignment with business goals

• Identifying further opportunities for improvements within our supply chain processes to overcome obstacles across the organization

If you...

• Have strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively

• Possess detailed working knowledge of SAP platform, Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of planning tools and processes

• Are capable of Analytical Thinking.

• Have leadership skills and the ability to work as a cross-functional team member

• Are knowledged and experienced in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field

• Possess a APICS CPIM certification this would be beneficial.
