Belle Tire Laborer - Recycling Facility in Wyandotte, Michigan
The Laborer position is responsible for operating equipment, loading, un-loading and moving tires within the Silver Lining Tire Recycling facility. Job Details: What you'll do: * Unload scrap from Passenger, Commercial Trailers, and Straight Trucks; * Load scrap van trailers with commercial blowouts and OTR Scrap * Cart high tread tires to air checker or used tires to dock for delivery; * Assist loading used tires that were purchased for delivery to customers; * Bag and palletize rubber mulch; * De-bead and de-rim truck tires; * Remove rims on passenger tires using tire machine; * Operate tire recycling equipment * Clean shop and parking lot; * Maintains an organized and safe work environment * Other duties as assigned by manager Requirements: * 18 years old * A valid driver's license is required for this position * High school diploma or GED is helpful * Ability to lift an object weighing up to 75 pounds * Varying work hours, Mon-Sat, some overtime may be required. Workshop environment, with heavy physical requirements and long periods of standing.
