The Global Operations Supply Chain organization is seeking an experienced, energetic, proactive Associate Director to lead Direct Procurement for our Wroclaw, Poland site. This individual will be responsible for leading an organization of 30+ associates in procurement activities across electronics, machining, fabrications, distributed hardware, and plastics commodities, among several others. This leader will be responsible for overall supply chain strategy and optimization, talent development, process improvement, and supplier performance and execution to align with the site priorities of ensuring perfect quality, on time delivery and best cost from our suppliers. This role is positioned in a matrixed organization where direct leadership and influence are essential to achieving results.

This role will be based in Wroclaw, Poland facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of a multi-faceted strategy to ensure reliable supply of quality hardware on time to each of the production lines in Wroclaw. This will require stakeholder alignment and host regular progress reviews with functional and site stakeholders, including Operations & Supply Chain executives.

• Responsible for collaborating in a cross-functional, highly matrixed environment in order to mitigate supply risks.

• Responsible for talent development of both direct and indirect staff and team members, as well as ensuring long term organization requirements are understood and executed.

• Responsible for serving their team as a point of escalation, coach and mentor.

Basic Qualifications:

• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 12 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required

• Must be willing and able to travel 15% of the time, including internationally

• Prior supply chain experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• A general understanding of Aerospace drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes

• Prior Leadership experience being a leader of leaders.

• Knowledge of export/ITC regulations and policies is preferred

• MBA degree

• PMP certification

• 7+ years’ experience in a procurement or supply chain role in the Aerospace Industry

• Experience with SAP and ARIBA

• Bi-lingual
