About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Engineer to join our thriving Global Simcenter Customer Support Organization. In this role, you will provide support to clients in various industry sectors, helping them adopt and maximize the potential of our market-leading software products, including Simcenter Amesim, Simcenter Flomaster and many other tools.

This is a remarkable opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to our clients' success by leveraging the power of our cutting-edge software solutions.

You will help and support our customers to effectively utilize our software products to solve complex engineering problems. You will provide valuable assistance to customers, ensuring they can fully leverage the capabilities of our products across multiple industry sectors simulating Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical systems. You will be tasked with finding innovative solutions to intricate engineering challenges in these domains, pushing the boundaries of what is possible with our software tools. Your ability to think outside the box and apply creative problem-solving techniques will be key to delivering optimal outcomes for our customers in these complex areas.

This position will be based in Wroclaw, Poland. Hybrid working is available.

Area of responsibility

• Support customers across our Systems portfolio specifically in Simcenter Amesim and Flomaster.

• Follow product developments and communicate updates and improvements to our customers

• Conduct training courses and customised mentoring

• On-site customer visits to improve collaboration and promote new software developments

• Presenting our technology at seminars and conferences

• Knowledge content development for our Support Center platform

Your qualifications

• Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautic or Control Engineering Degree or PhD

• Understanding of physics and controls of Auto / Aero / Mechanical industries systems

• Experience in Simcenter Amesim / Flomaster or other similar multi-physics 1D simulation tools (Matlab / Simulink, Simscape, GT Power, Dymola, etc.)

• Excellent problem solving and organisational skills

• Passion for acquiring, developing, and disseminating knowledge

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, any additional languages such as French or German would be beneficial

• Willing to travel on international business trips.

• Programming experience with C, Python or Modelica is an advantage

• Knowledge of other simulation domains such as CFD and or Mechanical analysis is an advantage.
