Electrical engineer will be responsible for design, programming, tests and site
commissioning of excitation systems, protection, synchronization and generator monitoring systems.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Design, program, test and site commission of the following systems: (generator excitation system- protection system- synchronization system- generator monitoring and diagnostic system)
Cooperation with project management team/ suppliers in relation to project execution
Cooperation with cross functional international and multicultural teams
Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understand how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolve issues using established procedures. Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters
Collaborate with others to solve issues. Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE. Exchange technical information, ask questions and check for understanding.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical science
Experience using CAD software (i.e. AutoCAD, E-plan)
Languages: fluent English
Desired Characteristics
SEP certificate would be an advantage
Knowledge of turbo-generators and control and protection equipment would be an advantage
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Strong interpersonal skills
Creative and innovative mindset
Ability to work in a team as well as independence during execution of assigned tasks
