Stellar has an immediate opportunity for a VTC / ADPE Techician to support the Air Force at Wrigh-Patterson AFB in the Dayton, OH., area.
Primary Duties:
Monitors, schedules, operates, and maintains the customer’s video teleconferencing (VTC) systems and network and coordinates connection with numerous sites, proficient in operation of various audiovisual components.
May coordinate installation or install video equipment.
Troubleshoots VTC networks.
Provides training on VTC systems and may train others to use equipment.
Explains and demonstrates installation of VTC equipment to operators, using hand-tools and following vendor manuals.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of VTC and network-related tasks.
Education / Certifications / Experience:
Requires ahigh school diploma or GED with vocational training desirable.
Two (2) years of experience in operating, scheduling, and maintaining conference and videoconference facilities.
Experience in secure and unsecure VTC Operations, VTC troubleshooting, and set-up is preferred.
Must be experienced in PowerPoint briefings.
Must have experience in performing user level preventative maintenance on equipment and coordinating with equipment vendors as necessary.
Security Clearance & Certification Requirements:
Must currently possess & be able to maintain a current/active DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
Must be willing & able to become certified by GVS as a VTC Facilitator, Level I.
U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
