Pine Hedge Orchards Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery in Wrentham, Massachusetts
5 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 06/01/2024 - 10/31/2024.
Harvest apples, other tree fruit and small fruit using a ladder and picking equipment, lifting approximately forty pounds while ascending and descending a ladder on a sustained basis. Must be able to identify mature fruits and not squeeze or bruise them. Must also perform other harvest related tasks, such as hoeing and hand weeding, planting and picking vegetables. Workers will also pick tomatoes grown in a greenhouse. One month experience in work listed required.
Requirements:
- 1 month experience in duties listed
- Lifting requirement 50 lbs.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- Extensive Pushing or Pulling
- Extensive sitting or walking
- Frequent stooping or bending over
- Repetitive movements
