We offer generous benefits, including retirement, paid time off, paid parental leave, health, dental, and vision benefits, life insurance and long and short-term disability, and more.Job Overview:Perform radiographic exams, including Computed Tomography (CT) and radiography works independently in performing these modalities.i Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and other technologists to improve patient care.i Provides call services on a rotational basis.i Apply previous computer experience to new applications for imaging and record keeping. iMay be required to travel to provide services at clinics throughout the Consortium. Understand that inadequate communication with the patient, provider, and radiologist can adversely affect patient health.i Creatively works with other SEARHC staff to solve problems.iResponsibilities:Performs diagnostic CT exams of human anatomy.i Places IVs for contrast injections.i Follows protocols set by the radiologist. Performs daily QA/QC on CT equipment. Receives patient, explains procedure, and creates a safe environment for the patient through good communication skills.i Accurately inputs pertinent medical information into EHR, RIS/PACS, and other systems as necessary. Is very familiar with power injectors and appropriate use.i Understands various types of contrast media and their use.Performs diagnostic x-ray examinations of human anatomy.i Follows standard positions and protocols, and views prescribed by SEARHC radiologists. Assists radiologist with fluoroscopic procedures.i Performs bone density tests.i Receives patients, explains procedures and utilizes standardized techniques, settings, and positions to accomplish acceptable results.Office Duties. Performs office jobs including, but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling patientsi exams, printing reports, retrieving charts, researching problems, ordering supplies and helping radiologists and providers.iResponsible for QA and QC for SEARHC imaging modalities.
