Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in progressive business finance, general accounting, controls and analysis experience within a manufacturing organization Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required
Master's Degree CPA, CMA, MBA Preferred
Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the plant’s financial results Required
Strong communication & presentation skills Required
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across plant and functional organizations Required
Want to challenge to the status quo - always striving for continuous improvement Required
Advanced knowledge in Excel, data manipulation capabilities Required
Strong IT aptitude to deliver effective desktop reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), utilize business warehouse tools, Power BI and MicroStrategy. QAD and Power BI knowledge would be highly preferable Preferred
Essential Functions:
Work closely with the Manager Financial Reporting in consolidation of financial results, for SGP in the US and globally. The analyst ensures accuracy of financials results, timely reporting to Paris, production and distribution high quality reports, provide analysis and insights, and respond to questions from business controllers and general managers.
Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, variances, forecasts and trends, and suggesting profit / cash improvement opportunities.
This Senior Financial Analyst also works on the controlling responsibilities for Lithium Solutions, Valoref and ZirPro businesses.
The Senior Financial Analyst works with the Manager Financial Reporting to implement necessary policies, procedures and reports to ensure that the business is compliant with internal controls under both ICRF (Internal Control Reference Framework) and ITAC in the new QAD environment, from a central finance standpoint.
