Position Summary

As the Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining multiple applications. Your day-to-day activities will involve connecting with business owners, understanding requirements, and implementing them as well.

In this role you will also have the responsibility of delivering these implementations to production and maintaining your applications once they are released to production. The Senior Software Development Engineer will collaborate with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, propose design patterns, ensure scalability/performance, and maintainability amongst applications. The Senior Software Development Engineer will participate in agile or other development methodologies, attend meetings, contribute to project planning, and help drive the progress/success of projects.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Sr Software Development Engineer or Technical Team Lead

• 5+ years of programming experience

• 2+ years of experience with Web services (SOAP or REST based) development

• 2+ years of experience utilizing tools such as; Rally, Weblogic server, TeamTrack, Sharepoint, LDAP

• 2+ years of experience deploying applications to the cloud, integrated with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAFe agile practices

• Experience partnering and navigating cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment, including product owners, designers, and business stakeholders, to drive key initiatives and projects

• Strong understanding of Java, SQL, Linux, SDLC etc

• Experience overseeing daily operations of multiple delivery teams which consists of onshore and offshore team members

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)​

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
