**EMPLOYMENT ADVERTISEMENT
PLUMBING/MECHANICAL INSPECTOR (Part Time)
The City of Woonsocket is looking for a part time Plumbing/Mechanical Inspector. Reporting to the Director of Planning and Development, the Plumbing/Mechanical Inspector is responsible for the conformity to all pertinent ordinances and regulations of all residential and business installations, repairs and alterations of plumbing fixtures and plumbing mechanical systems for the City of Woonsocket. Specific duties include the review of all drawings and specifications of plumbing applications, issuing permits, inspections, as well as issuing complaints due to specific plumbing violations. Must have a high school diploma, or GED equivalent with four (4) years prior experience as a plumber or plumbing contractor, as well as a thorough knowledge of all plumbing related ordinances and regulations. Possession of a Journeyman or Master plumbers license is required. Must courteously and professionally deal with the public.
