CVS Health Analytics Senior Manager - Market Research in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

CVS Health is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager to join our team. This role will oversee the development of analytics reporting, as well as directly manage the wider analytics team.Responsibilities:- Use internal and external proprietary and open source, publicly-available data to identify business opportunities and support a deeper understanding of the business for acquisitions and real estate strategy- Oversee the development of analytics reporting that enables enhanced decision-making by internal teams or select external partners - Manage the data analytics team and work to continue to develop the team personally and professionally - Function as an individual contributor on the team assisting with data analytics tasks and projects as needed - Recommend and execute analytic solutions that enable a more complete understanding of the impact of acquisitions and new stores on sales- Provide end to end support of new and existing analytical work products including identifying project deliverables and timelines, defining the business problem, generating hypotheses, developing the analytic methodology- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address key business questions and unlock insights that drive value for the business by using statistical techniques to create relevant benchmarks, identify outliers and summarize the data to recommend action using a variety of tools such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, Alteryx, etc.- Develop data visualizations and BI (Business Intelligence) dashboards (including self-service BI for non-technical colleagues) by leveraging software development life cycle for designing new analytical models, data marts, reports, and dashboards

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership and management experience- 3+ years of experience utilizing statistical methodologiesand database technologies to develop analytic solutions ina business environment.- 3+ years of experience with SQL or Teradata; and SAS orR.

Preferred Qualifications
