Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner, is now hiring for an energetic, passionate, and driven Certified Rehab Therapist to join our team.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our CareerTrax leveling system.

Our hospital provides a unique orthopedic and rehabilitation team focused on treating and preventing injury, aiding recovery, and enhancing performance. Helping dogs live well is what drives us.

As a BluePearl Rehabilitation Technician, you will:

• Work under the supervision of our 2 rehab practitioners and 5 member surgical team to perform and implement designated rehabilitation therapy plans

• Also be comfortable working autonomously with indirect supervision

• Communicate one on one with our clients as you work with their pet, and implement home exercise plans and other client education aspects

• Complete digital medical record keeping and documentation as appropriate to the cases you see, or assist with

• Perform and teach therapeutic exercises and manual therapies to clients as part of the HEP

• Treat with a variety of modalities, including UWT

We are searching for a Veterinary Technician who...

• Holds a current rehabilitation certification

• Has a minimum of 1 year of experience

• Has a High School Diploma/GED

• Experienced working in veterinary medicine

• Can lift up to 50lbs

• Is able to work on the floor, crawl, bend in various directions, grasp objects, reach, and squat as this is a physically demanding role

• Canine behavior, Canine Athlete experience a plus

Skylos Sports Medicine does solely orthopedic surgeries and a sports medicine caseload. Our Frederick location houses VetUrgency at night and on weekends.

Our 2 locations provide the following equipment:

• Dedicated Canine Gyms outfitted with rubber flooring, various exercise equipment, an area to perform gait exams, and Oasis UWT

• Dedicated rehab exam/treatment rooms

• Cutting Edge Class IV Lasers

• Chattanooga Therapeutic U/S

• Shockwave Therapy

• Tens/NMES units

• Our rehab practitioners also offer Acupuncture and Dry Needling
