Description

Our Woodland Hills, California-based client is looking for a skilled UX/UI Product Designer to become a part of their team. This position requires you to use your creativity and technical competence to design digital customer experiences, interpreting business requisites and product needs into functional yet intuitive designs. In collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams, you will concoct designs that are user-centric and align with the business's goals.

Responsibilities:

• Build in-depth wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and user flows to project design solutions clearly.

• Participate in a dynamic collaborative work environment, maintaining the quality and promptness of your work.

• Continually research competitive and corresponding brands and digital products to kindle creative concepts in the team.

• Join task stories, informed by research and data, with business goals to confirm that the design aligns with business objectives.

• Collaborate substantially with the design team and leadership, encompassing product management, research, and marketing. This collaboration will create a data-oriented and user-focused strategy for new digital experiences.

• Recognize design issues and complications, and plan ingenious solutions to them.

• Implement a User-Centered design perspective, and swiftly test and revise your designs.

• Deliver your design notions and contributions competently to cross-functional teams.

• Use design and wire-framing tools such as Figma, Proto.io, Illustrator, and the Adobe Suite.

• Carry out concept and usability tests to amass feedback and apply user testing and analytics services like Usertesting.com, Hot Jar, Optimizely, Qualtrics, to augment the design experience.

Requirements

• At least 5 years expertise in a similar capacity to a UX/UI Product Designer is desired.

• Established skills in Adobe Creative Cloud encompassing Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop are essential.

• Must possess verifiable abilities in Figma.

• Prior involvement in user testing and proficient in employing said results to optimize designs.

• Proficiency in transforming user behavior into interactive website designs.

• Advanced problem-solving capacity, with a focus on creativity.

• Readiness to function effectively in a group environment.

• Display ongoing learning and enhancement of skills in the area of UI/UX design.

• A degree, preferably in Design, Computer Science or similar disciplines is an added advantage.

• Understanding of HTML/CSS is necessary; familiarity with JavaScript is a bonus.

• Extensive portfolio of design undertakings, particularly those involving web/mobile applications, is a must.
