Job Title: Fork Lift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fork Lift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the professional and accident-free operation of forklifts, ensuring the precise maintenance and cleanliness of the equipment, and accurately tracking inventory using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Responsibilities
Professional accident-free operation of the forklift and precise keeping of forklift inspections.
Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift.
Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS.
Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead, such as sampling inventory and cleaning.
Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages during the seed delivery and return season.
Maintain safety standards and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
Essential Skills
Ability to count accurately when moving inventory.
Ability to read scales.
Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
Being alert and aware when driving the forklift in a safe manner.
Ability to communicate and work independently or with a team.
Ability to work in tighter confined spaces with a forklift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1 year of forklift experience.
1 year of warehouse experience.
Prior forklift certification is preferred.
Reliable transportation to the site and punctuality.
Enthusiasm, a good attitude, honesty, and a willingness to treat all with respect.

Work Environment
The work environment involves 12-hour shifts from 6:00am to 6:30pm and 6:00pm to 6:30am, with an 8-week rotation between day and night shifts. You will operate forklifts to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in the warehouse area while following regulatory requirements and using technology such as PCs and scanners to complete job tasks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
