Insight Global Senior Systems Engineer in Woodbridge, Ontario

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a R&D team for a global provider of science technology and service solutions. This role focuses on optimizing complex systems for enhanced functionality and efficiency. The Senior Systems Engineer is pivotal in identifying and solving the real problems within our processes, ensuring high-quality outputs while minimizing costs and time.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the integration and performance of hardware and software, ensuring seamless system functionality.

  • Responsible for managing system engineering processes.

  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting of systems to prevent and resolve issues.

  • Provide accurate project planning and time estimates for research initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with mechatronic systems.

  • Skilled in basic system assembly troubleshooting.

  • Proficient in interfacing with mechanical, electrical, and firmware components.

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical.

  • General computing knowledge.

  • Ability to define project specifications and ensure they align with customer requirements. - Familiarity with chromatography theory and system design.

  • Experience in the design and development of chromatography systems.

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering is highly preferred.

  • Programming skills are beneficial. null
