Robert Half IT Auditor in Woodbridge, New Jersey

Description

The IT Auditor will be instrumental in enhancing our IT governance, risk management, and compliance processes. This role is primarily focused on conducting audits, assessing IT controls, and providing strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and improve overall security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to understand their business objectives and IT environment.

• Develop tailored audit plans and methodologies based on needs and industry standards.

• Identify and evaluate IT risks and vulnerabilities impacting operations.

• Assess the effectiveness of existing controls in mitigating identified risks.

• Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, processes, and controls.

• Perform testing and analysis of IT controls, focusing on areas such as access management, data protection, and cybersecurity.

• Utilize industry-leading tools and methodologies to gather evidence and identify findings.

• Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in concise reports.

• Present audit results to stakeholders, highlighting key issues and proposed remediation actions.

• Provide strategic advice and guidance on improving their IT governance and security posture.

Requirements • Must possess profound knowledge and expertise in IT Audit

• Proven experience in Audit - Information Systems is required

• Capable of interpreting and managing Audit Findings effectively

• Proficiency in handling Audit Workpapers is a must

• Certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is required

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Familiarity with current industry regulations and trends in IT Audit

• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
