Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Continuing Education Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating Continuing Education (CE) events in collaboration with Clinical Leadership. This includes setting up and coordinating CE events, working closely with vendors to schedule and promote events, and managing event logistics. This position will work in tandem with the compliance and education coordinator.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • The duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and schedule CE events, ensuring alignment with Clinical Leadership's objectives. 

  • Collaborate with vendors to distribute event information and coordinate logistical aspects of the event. 

  • Manage event registration processes, including attendee registration and communication. 

  • Collect information and distribute CE credits to attendees after each event. 

  • Monitor and manage the ProSmileU inbox, responding to inquiries and providing support as needed. 

  • Work closely with clinical affairs to ensure all team members are up to date with CE requirements and have submitted necessary licenses and certifications. 

  • Able to travel during nights and weekends as needed to oversee events and provide on-site support. 

  • Assist with additional tasks related to CE events and dental operations as required. 

  • Manage and schedule CPR classes 

    Qualifications

     

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event management, healthcare administration, or related field. 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software. 

  • Previous experience in event coordination or healthcare administration is preferred. 

  • Flexibility to travel and work nights and weekends as needed.
