Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Project manager specializing in Building Automation Systems for one of our Data Center Consulting clients. This role can sit out of Woburn, MA, however is open to individuals sitting remotely as well. The Project Manager will coordinate with internal and external clients to develop and provide industry-leading management of projects in MEP and the systems supporting its control and automation. Responsibilities include creating internal and external standards, developing departmental processes, and supporting the preparation of RFPs and related processes. The role also involves project budgeting, providing ROMs to support projects, project planning and scheduling, and overseeing internal and external technical resources. Establishing communication protocols, managing documents, handling RFIs and responses, and executing change orders are also key duties. Internally, the successful candidate will set the quality bar for the customers they support, managing and overseeing all systems to ensure the rapid creation of work products and effective management of responsibilities to meet collaboratively set goals. The position may require travel to domestic and international sites, either specified by customers or as part of sales and marketing efforts, with an average travel expectation of 10%, not exceeding 25%.

Pay Range: $48-$62/hr (Pay Rate is determined by multiple factors including level of experience, industry background, degrees/certifications, etc.)

Skills and Requirements

Associates/Bachelors degree in an engineering or management concentration (candidates may substitute significant years of relevant experience over a degree).

3+ years working within project management, technical sales management, or other applicable experience in the concentration of MEP or controls and instrumentation for vendors, consultants, or an end user.

Knowledge of MEP and machine design/HVAC/electrical instrumentation and their applications in a mission critical environment.

Understanding of building IT/OT infrastructure and the understanding of other low voltage technologies including security systems, lighting control systems, and fire alarm systems.

Understanding of smart building technology convergence and low-voltage sub-system integration for IT and parallel OT network Infrastructure design. null
