job summary:

Due to internal growth, our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for general ledger activities, financial reporting and analysis, as well as oversight/management of AP and AR. This is an opportunity to join a growing and tenured team.

location: Woburn, Massachusetts

responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and year-end close process

• Responsible for general ledger and posting journal entries

• Reviewing monthly balance sheet

• Bank and cash reconciliations

• Support Plant Management and operations while working closely with purchasing, materials, and program managers

• Implement cost saving methods

• Internal audits

• Other responsibilities as assigned by management

qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years accounting experience in manufacturing environment

• 3+ years cost accounting experience

• Strong written and verbal skills, analytical, and organized

• Proficiency with Excel and Word

skills: Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Acct
