Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member isresponsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

This role is part of the Kitting production area. The role will involve assembling and packing parts of low and medium voltage kits for the Utilities business and is of a repetitive nature.

Job Responsibilities

• Be aware of EH&S issues i.e. COSHH & Risk assessments.

• Adhere to working practices & procedures.

• Monitor & control quality.

• Keep up to date with day to day operations/new/existing products and complete work on time in line with process times.

• Have an understanding of areas documentation.

• Maintain cleanliness of the area and equipment while applying 5S +1.

• Ensure that all customer targets are achieved.

• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Utilities Supervisor

What your background should look like:

• Flexibility to work overtime at short notice, in line with the business demands.

• Work on own initiative and as part of a team. Good communication skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Reliability.

• Prior Kitting or Connectors experience not necessary but preferred.

• Training will be provided.
