Reports To: Bakery Manager

Join us as a Bakery Evening Supervisor and help ensure our Bakery department remains fully stocked with fresh, delightful products. In this role, you’ll support our team and ensure an exceptional experience for our customers and associates during the evening shift.

Job Description
What You'll Do:
Lead and Support:Perform tasks assigned by Bakery Manager, and lead the Bakery department in the absence of the Bakery Manager, assisting with important tasks and providing effective leadership. Reinforce our Festival culture, guest service, and performance expectations to all evening Bakery associates.
Train and Guide:Onboard new evening Bakery clerks and cleaners, providing them with the training and support they need to succeed. Answer associate questions & provide guidance. Offer feedback to the Bakery Manager and Assistant Manager on evening associates’ performance.
Maintain Excellence:Ensure all department standards are met by monitoring the sales floor, prep area, back room, cooler, and freezer conditions. Take action to address any areas of opportunity.
Deliver Outstanding Service:Assist guests in finding items, taking cake and special orders, and providing excellent service. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and help your team with packaging, labeling, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Ensure Quality and Safety:Keep supplies replenished, maintain food safety logs, and meet quality standards, including quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
Honor Commitments:Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
Support the Team: Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
Customer Service Skills:Ability to provide outstanding customer service and work effectively with guests and team members.
Communication Skills: Oral and written communication skills and the ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
Food Service Expertise:Knowledge of retail food service, bakery and pastry operations, with a strong understanding of food service standards and practices.
Safety and Efficiency:Comprehensive knowledge of safety requirements and the ability to apply on-the-job safety training and safety policies to handle equipment and recognize and react potential hazards effectively.
